An interesting case is Nike Golf’s situation. Having been synonymous with throughout Tiger Wood’s career, they have seen huge exposure from his dominance since the late 90’s. When they made a lucrative play on Rory McIlroy early this year, he has since struggled with their clubs, unable to match his previous performance he had whilst using his Titleist clubs last season.
